Please check out all our pages and learn more about our pets as well as the American Pit Bull Terrier. If you are considering welcoming a Pit Bull please check out your local animal shelter first. They are always looking for responsible owners that will provide a loving home for these wonderful creatures. At our kennel we screen ALL potential owners to ensure that our dogs are not neglected. They represent the future of this breed and it is our responsibility to deliver them to coming generations in better hands then they currently are.
Mission Statement
In the 1920's the American Pit Bull Terrier was know to be the #1 family pet despite being fought for entertainment. What has happened to this breed since then? Why is it that when I tell someone that I have Pit Bulls an eerie silence fills the room. Pit Bulls are domesticated animals. They are not wild, they are not born bad, but most of all they are not pest which we can just exterminate. We created this breed and it is our duty to fix what past generations have undone. At A.R.K. Kennels we commit to all our Pit Bulls for life by offering one on one support to our new owners. We never lose contact with owners and we always take our dogs back when then are unwanted. ALWAYS. We do not over breed our dogs. Females are only breed a max of three times in a life time and males are only breed four times in a life time. For the pups that are selected for breeding there is a 2 year waiting period for breeding to ensure that no undesirable traits appear and to preform necessary OFA screening. This also gives time to earn titles for our dogs, proving there abilities.
Finally, our biggest mission is to create positive press. We want all our dogs to be social and productive members of society. We require all of our dogs to have at least 1 title by two years of age before full ownership rights are given. If you are just looking for a pet, PLEASE, PLEASE help out your local shelter.

I think I may have what you are looking for even though I just started my own thing ihave a brindle and white male with an outstanding pedigree that I got from my uncle and is very true to standard you can see a list of the titled dogs off his 7 gen on the website i just started if it is to your liking i would like to talk further on the phone i should have pics up within a week so far we haven't had no health problems out of him or his sire or dam my website is fortknoxkennels.wetpaint.com
